Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism conducted a one day workshop in Housekeeping Skills on 31 August, 2019. The workshop was conducted by Prof. Subrat Saraf,
Co-ordinator, Rooms Division Research Centre, College of Hotel Management and Tourism. The workshop was intended to familiarize the students with the intricacies of making a bed in a professional way in a hotel room and other services of Housekeeping department in a Hotel. The students also got refreshed with various cleaning agents, guest room amenities, and various linen handling tips.
Mr. Cariyappa (Student-V Sem BHMCT) welcomed the guests and participants. Mr. Sreejith O.V (Course Co-ordinator, BHMCT/B.SC - HM) was the Chief inaugurator of the workshop. Mr. Sreejith in his inaugural speech emphasized on the importance of on the importance of continuous learning and narrated the role of workshop in enhancing the learning skills among students. Students from the final year batch also gave insights on Housekeeping to the students based on their exposure they received during the internship in the previous semester. Hemal Suvarna (Student- VII Sem BHM) presented the vote of thanks.
