GUEST LECTURE

Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism organised a Guest Lecture for the Fifth Semester BHMCT & B.Sc- HM students on " COMPETITIVE & BUSINESS ASPECT IN EVENT MANAGEMENT " on 14th September 2019. Mr. Mohammed Sajid and Mr.Sahil Zaheer, Business Associates - Platform Productions, Mangalore were the resource persons for the Guest Lecture. The Guest Lecture was intended to make the students more aware of the intricacies in event management and make them understand varied competition they would face in case they take up event management as their career after education. The resource persons, Mr.Sajid and Mr. Zaheer experiancially elaborated on the scope of event business and gave some professional tips to be successful in the field. Mr. Padmanabha, Associate Prof.- College of Hotel Management and Tourism, was also present for the lecture. Mr. Subrat Saraf, Asst. Prof.- College of Hotel Management and Tourism, welcomed the guests for the session. Mr. Padmanabha delivered the inaugural  speech. The session was an interactive one and students actively participated in the Question-Answer sessions. Mr. Sampath (Student - V Sem BHMCT) delivered the Vote of Thanks.

Srinivas University College of Hotel Management & Tourism, conducted a workshop for the Pre-University level students on 16 November, 2019. Students from Parijnana PU College - Ullal, attended the workshop. Basic baking skills were demonstrated with the preparation of Banana bread and Peanut Butter Cookies by the participants. COOKING WITHOUT FIRE COMPETITION - SAGA 2K19

Srinivas University College of Hotel Management and Tourism organised a 'Cooking Without Fire Competition' for Pre-University level students on November 7, 2019 as part of SAGA-2K19. Twenty teams from different PU Colleges in and around Mangalore participated in the competition. Prof. Sujatha Shankar and Prof. Prashanth Prabhu were the chief organizers for the event.
