National Level Conference


College of Hotel Management & Tourism, Srinivas University organized a National Level Conference on the theme “CHALLENGES FACED BY BUDDING JOB SEEKERS IN THE  INDUSTRIAL FRAME WORK: PRACTICES AND REMEDIES” on 17th December 2019 at its City Campus, Pandeshwar, Mangaluru. Mr. Milan Samuel, Assistant General Manager, Hotel Ocean Pearl Inn, Mangaluru, was the Chief Inaugurator of the programme.
In his address to the delegates, Mr. Milan Samuel, highlighted the current mind setup of professionals entering into the industrial diaspora as freshers, focused on  the main reasons behind their instability in their career goals and suggested on some measures to help them in overcoming those drawbacks.
Prof. Swaminathan S,  Dean, College of Hotel Management & Tourism, presided over the function and addressed the delegates while focusing on the main roles to be played by trainers and teachers of various industrial fields in enhancing the confidence and stability among the new professionals.
The key notes were delivered by Dr.Francisca Tej and Dr. Gurutej,                           Co Founders  WiZdom Ed. India in a very participative and enthusiastic manner.
The Conference was convened by Mr. Subrat Saraf, Asst. Professor, College of Hotel Management & Tourism. Mr. Sreejith O.V, Asst. Professor welcomed the dignitaries and delegates to the programme and Mr. Subrat Saraf addressed the delegates on the theme of the conference.  Mr. Arjun K, Organising Secretary delivered the vote of thanks.
As many as 14 abstracts received from various researchers across India were   released in book form on the day of conference and many professors from various colleges of Mangalore presented their paper on the theme. Eight  research papers were also released during the conference.

BAKING BUDDIES I - Bakery Workshop

Srinivas University College of Hotel Management & Tourism, conducted a workshop for the Pre-University level students on 14 November, 2019. Students from Sharada PU College, Mangalore attended the workshop. Basic baking skills were demonstrated with the preparation of Banana bread and Peanut Butter Cookies by the participants. The workshop was organised by Mr.Chaitanya, Asst. Professor, Srinivas University College of Hotel Management & Tourism. Prof. Swaminathan, Dean - Srinivas University College of Hotel Management & Tourism, handed over the participation certificate to the students.
